Jason Dean

Jason Dean taught himself web design and programming while attending the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.  After graduation he worked for a number of companies in Milwaukee, refining his skills before returning to school in Madison.  He received his master’s in journalism from the UW in 2008, and joined the Beloit Daily News as a web producer in August.

Jason spends a great deal of time in both Madison and Milwaukee.  He is an editor and writer for the Madison online magazine Dane101.com and occasionally writes for The Cap Times & 77 Square.  He is excited for the future of journalism, and looks forward to helping it successfully adapt to the web.
